Where do you normally get your credible news from?

I'm just testing the waters before I decide to jump in here.

I know a most of us are busy and get the news when we can get it. I'm just curious of what source people use as part of their daily routine and listen to it because they believe it is credible, and/or fits to their viewpoint. Note cable news is still cable news if it is from a website like CNN.com.

If you scrape together from youtube or an RSS pile, just try to cite your main source within that you are most interested in.

I'm not trying to pigeonhole anyone, just trying to get a feel.

I hardly check the news daily. I check forums like these and get stuff second hand most of the time. Occasionally I watch CNN at the gym when I can find the remote.

Please post your routine news sources, especially if it's something alternative for us to find out about!

Online and second hand in P&N, I rarely watch news on TV. If I do, it's usually the local news on one of the affiliate stations.
 
Most of my news I get from the local AM radio stations to and from work.

I like Bret Baier (sp) on Fox News at 6 pm. Good, hard news with some commentary at the end. I usually watch my local news the first 15 minutes or so, then flip over to him.

Otherwise, I use Drudge as a jumping point to WSJ, Washington Times/Post and other sources.

I could give a shit about local news (though I admit should probably care more). My focus is 80% financial related as I work in the industry -- so Bloomberg terminal primarily, cnnfn.com, and Drudge (for entertainment mostly).
 
I get it wherever I feel the source was objective and unbiased, TOTALLY UNLIKE the alleged "fair and balanced" misinformation from the Murdock Ministry of Propaganda.

"Fair and Balanced". LOL *barf* *g-ggg-g-gag* LOL *UUURRRP* LOL

*edit* - I get a lot of my news from the "ultra-leftist" controlled NPR, PBS and CSPAN.

Wouldn't that be covered by the "not popular" option? 😉

When in the car, I listen to NPR almost exclusively, and can say that there's no better option for long-format news stories. They do have a mild liberal bias, but it's no worse than the conservative bias of Fox News or Wall Street Journal.
 
google news.... Don't think I could answer your poll since no option for that that I could see.

 
New York Times, Wall St. Journal, and Washington Post via their websites/rss feeds.

I read blogs too, but mostly for entertainment and special interest news.
