Well i like to sit way in front like 6 rows from the screen.. what 'bout you guys? which is the best seat

I like to sit toward the back of the theatre. I don't like to "break my neck" to look up at the screen.

About 3/5 of the way towards the front, in the very center seat.

But all theatres are a little different...

The back few rows is good. Basically as long as my head is about level with the center of the screen I'm happy. Wife likes to sit on one of the sides though.

I try to get right in the middle, in direct line with the center of the screen. I usually sit about halfway back from the front. It also depends what kind of seating the theatre has (i.e. stadium seating, which is getting popular in my area).

Wow, that's perfect... that's where I like to sit too 😀 Or if stadium seating, in the first row of the upper (back) section.

Center and Center.

hopefully not in front of some punk who can't help tapping my seat with their foot or near a prick who leaves their cell phone on then gets a call and proceeds to talk in normal volume oblivious to the disturbance caused to others:|

we get a lot of these ignoramouses in Hong Kong:disgust:

Very true, there are, but I can't say anything cuz I leave my cell on too, but I won't talk at the normal volume 🙂 2 weeks ago I went to the movies (I'm in Hong Kong too), someone at the front, I was sitting at the back, got a phone call and I can totally hear what his conversation was! how rude...

Hi CattyKathy - I don't mind if ppl lower their voices because it shows they are polite, obviously you are🙂 and some ppl do need to leave cell phones on due to various reasons, I do understand-ggrrr, but when some raise their voices even louder than normal to outdo the sounds from the film :| OK I've gotta calm down-it's just a pet hate of mine being in HK

woodly6 - maybe we could start an anti-kicking back of chairs organisation much like Norton did with Fight Clubs 😀
