Hanging up in my old bedroom at my parents' house. It means much more to them than it does to me.

Hang? Mine is in a brown envelope at the bottom of a box along with last year's bank statements... don't you think it's a bit arrogant to hang qualifications on the wall? I mean unless you're a lawyer or something and hang it in your office to impress the clients, what's the point?

nothing wrong with dispalying something you are proud of. It is an achievement.

Maybe because I worked hard and paid for it myself?

Mine BA is up in my home office, next to my wife's BHK and her Master's. I guess it will start looking kinda lopsided when she puts her PhD up there, but oh well.

mine's in a drawer at home, but I would have no problem putting it on the wall in my home office.

College diplomas are probably the most expensive piece of paper in one's life.
With that said, I haven't gotten mine yet - I'll probably just keep it somewhere anyways.

And the frames arent any cheaper. I was looking at prices today, and they run from $70-$150.

i have to second the original statement, and add that after sending the diploma they sent ads for "official" frames for 800+ bucks.

thanks, but no thanks

I think it's at my parent's house somewhere in an envelope...

I don't do anything with the original, but I keep a credit card-sized copy in my wallet to show the girls when I'm out at the bars

one is still in the leathery folder, as it was given to me. the other is tucked inside that, still in the fedex envelope that it was mailed in (i didn't attend that ceremony--laws of physics restricting me to occupy one space in the universe at one time....).

Where they actually are...not sure. probably in a stack of papers, collecting dust, or something....

Still at the school. They want me to pay like $15 or something to have it shipped to me.. or I could go and pick it up for free. Not going to drive 400 miles to pick up my diploma and not gonna spend that much for shipping it.

In a box in the crawl space of my home ... I think. I get no value out of hanging in on a wall. It was simply a means to an end. It got me the interview for the first meaningful job, which I then learned from and moved on to where I am today.
