Where do you go for LOTR news?

I suppose I should learn where to go for LOTR news, rather than ask questions here.
I can find Kami's news releases here, but for instance, I couldn't find the latest "official" press release on the DVD, and SE DVD releases.

TORn is usually first to get news up but once in a blue moon AICN or another lesser known site picks it up first. TORn is great, but I've seen them a couple days late to news that I already knew before 🙂

If anything major happens, I'll post it here 😀

and glen, there are no press releases on the DVDs yet. Those are coming out March 26th. 🙂

ok, my old roomate ask me about them, and I said August and November.
He said, who isn't going to wait for the one in November.
I said, I don't know.
Then, I tried to find the official press releases on the issue..nada.
So, I suppose they may change what so far are only rumours, right?

Yeah, cause another rumor says mid-July for the first one. But all the rumors are around the same time.

<< anyone ever thought about skipping the first two, so you can just see the whole thing at once? >>

I could never do it. I've been anticipating the movies since mid-1999 and it was hard enough waiting over 2 years for the first one. Could never tack on another 2 and a half years on there before they all came out at once on DVD.

10+ hour LOTR marathons in the future should be fun though 😀

by then, won't w have multi disc changers that will play the whole move changing sides and discs as needed?

There already is multi-disc changers.

I dunno, I think I'd want to have to get up to change the discs since it would be the only exercise i get in those 10 hours or so 🙂

It's still in theaters and I guess they are planning to release it a bit more after the oscars since it has a good chance of cleaning up on many of the awards, and that would boost ticket sales some.

Beaten titanic? not even close
