Where do you get screws and such

I have been working with computers since I built my first one back in the year 2000 (Abit KT7A Athlon 1GHZ Inwin Q500 etc) anyway I always had a stock of the usual screws (6-32 M3 and Mobo standoffs) but my stock is dangerously low and I want to restock on the little bits but where is a good online place that I can get a bulk pack of screws and not be gouged on the shipping?
I used Cyberguys before so I was trying to place an order and the shipping comes out more then the items:hmm: so is there a better place for ordering the little bits that make putting a computer together possible?

Also what do you use to put your screws in (I had a fishing tackle box but I dropped that and it broke and my screws went every where I found most of them but not all :biggrin So I need a good idea to sort my screws once I get more

I've just collected screws and standoffs for years...I don't have any fancy storage box...just a zip-lock bag in a slightly larger cardboard box...BUT, a quick google found this:

Never bought a screw in my life. I just collected every screw i've come across of the last 20+ years. I put them in big ass medicine bottles.

You can find at local mom-n-pop computer repair/sales shops or at ebay.

When I used to run a mom&pop computer shop, we gave out screws for free to people who asked us for them, as long as they didn't abuse our generosity.

Here are a couple links to purchase screws. Don't know if they would be the cheapest source, but FWIW the shipping is already included in the pricing. You just have to be really patient because it can take a couple weeks for your order to show up.

looks tempting... I guess I will buy some just for the heck of it... sometimes I do need some and I take them out from existing hard drives and stuff, like if one is using 4 I will take two out and use on another one...
