Where do you get Samsung DLP replacement lamps?

I did google and a couple of other searches for the Samsung HLN617W. It uses a 6000 Hour 120-Watt User Replaceable Lamp. That works out to 250 days of continuous use.

My family likes to use our TV's as nightlights. I'm beginning to wonder if getting a projection TV is a wise thing to do for us.

Normal usage is about 4-5 years of usage. They are around 200 dollars and the information on ordering replacement ones is through the manufacturer.

And worth every penny. The DLP format is definetly the way to go. I hate plasma, and LCD isn't as good as DLP at least in my mind. Plasma is going to be a dead technology in the near future, and if the DLP bulbs are only 227 now, think of how much they'll drop by the time you need one.

that's an absolutely amazing deal when you think about it. In 4 years you'll prob. replace the tv anyways, but if you don't you got a nice cheap replacement bulb for a fraction of the cost of the TV itself.

That's actually pretty cool, first time I've heard of that. Any particular reason?
Too lazy to get up and turn them off I guess. They also give the impression that someone is home when were out.
