I personally carry it in my pocket because I hate belt clips and it jamming into my side. It especially sucks putting on a seat belt. I'm just curious though - reception is decreased slightly in your pocket as opposed to on a clip right?

Why would you use your phone in your pocket..???

When I get one, I'll carry it in my pocket because I hate how freakin gay people look carrying on their belt clip.

I used to carry it on my belt until I got tired of seeing my $200 cell phone (which was expensive for a cell phone at the time) being knocked off my belt all the time. I now carry it in my pocket. This is one of the main reasons I won't get a Treo; it's too damn big for my pocket.

I don't have one, and I don't plan on getting one. People will cell phones irritate me, and I couldn't complain about them if I had one.

I also don't see the point in paying insane monthly charges for a phone when you already have one at home. The only time I could see having a cell phone is if that's the only phone you have.

Some people do their business over their cell phones, which are established numbers with established contacts as opposed to their home numbers which they'd like to keep personal. My sister when she first moved out saw no need to have a home phone since everyone knew her cell.

I have a cell but I'll always need a home phone just in case. It's handy to have around so people can contact you or in case of an emergency.

I can understand having one for business (though I hope to never have a job that requires me to always be reachable). What irritates me are the people that always use them for personal stuff, and are oblivious to everything else when they are on the phone.

I've gotta where it on my belt unless I want to get arrested. Brick Phones aren't cool. It's for work, but I'm gonna get a smaller Motorola soon. -TAL 😀

PS: Post # 500

I have a work cell and a personal cell.

The personal stays in my handbag - the work cell - on a swivel belt clip.

When I'm not working both are carried in a pocket on the side of my handbag.

Carried the 8260 in my pocket, and that looks like where the new v70'll be....just picked up the phone earlier today, and I'm just starting to go through the manual now 🙂

Oh I definetly agree with you on that one without a doubt. People using them while eating, in a movie theater, in class - it pisses me off. I'm a very quiet guy but it makes me irritated to the point that I speak up to the person using them. If people would use/learn some manners when using them we'd all have no problem, unfortunately our society isn't that way

Oh yea - I have a Samsung N240, left front pocket at all times
