Where do you carry your cell phone?

I personally carry it in my pocket because I hate belt clips and it jamming into my side. It especially sucks putting on a seat belt. I'm just curious though - reception is decreased slightly in your pocket as opposed to on a clip right?

Left pocket, buttons facing out. 24/7(well, not when i sleep...then its to the left of my head on my bed, charging)

in the side pocket of my jeans... (the 2 little different pockets you can put it in)

that's where mine goes, all the time.

Ooooh, buttons facing in, Deeko, thats the ticket!

When you leave the buttons out, you also leave the display out and you run a big risk of the display being cracked by anything banging into it. I've seen 12+ phones in the last six months where this has happened. And at 80+ dollars to have the LCD replaced (gotta love labour charges!) it's worth keygaurding the phone and carring it button and LCD facing in.

Just my 2 cents.

And for the record, Samsung Colour screen flip phone, on a swivel belt clip w/ leather case, right side.

Depends....

My Nokia has a discrete enough integrated belt clip that I will clip it to my pant's waste.

My Goldstar, even though it is a significantly smaller phone, has a bulky belt clip device so I usually just drop it in my pocket. I actually through the belt clip device away. It's dorky. It's a big, spring loaded belt clip with a cradle for the phone. It's as if the ability to attach this phone to a belt was an afterthought. :rolleyes;

On my belt, on a "swivel clip," upside down (no antenna jabbing), left side (no seat belt problems). It's a Motorola V60i (the included "holster" is a bulky POS).

Dockers Tech Pants, left side leg zipper pocket. That way it's easy to get to, even when I'm sitting down.

I try not to hit my phone...and its a beast anyway, it can take a decent amount of beating. With the way the buttons are on my phone, if it moves in my pocket with the buttons in, it feels like the phone is vibrating, and I think I have a call. Thus, I have to have the buttons facing out.

Left pocket of my jeans along with chapstick and my mini leatherman (thanks Secret Santa!!!). Right pocket holds keys.

If I'm wearing a jacket, the phone goes in the inside left breastpocket.

<== leatherman monkey dance

Motorola v60i

Outside of work - in my pockets, on vibrate
When I'm working - On the included holster clip, clipped to my left side on my belt. When I wear my toolbelt, I take the phone off and clip it to that. I can't really put it in my pocket because I use my phone more during work and it's hard to reach into my pockets with my toolbelt on.

if i dont have my sony clie, the nokia 8290 is in my right pocket and the keys are on the left.
if i have my clie, the clie goes in the right pocket, the keys and 8290 go in the left pocket.
my wallet is always in my back right pocket.
