Where do you buy your DVDs?

We get them used at Gamestop. They're nicely priced and if the movie doesn't work for some reason, they let you return or exchange it.

a little late to be building a dvd collection with hd-dvd coming soon, but I normally pick mine up from DDD (as linked by kyparrish) or Walmart.

Not at all. New movies will come out on HD/Blu-ray, and I'll switch to those when they're cheaper. Some/most current/past movies probably will not be converted and/or won't look any better on HD/Blu-ray.

Deepdiscount had B1G1 FREE dvd TV box sets. I also pick up people's collections in the FS/FT forum. If your carefull, you can get an adult owned collection for about $5/$6 a dvd....sometimes less.

New releases I just pick up at CircuitCity, $15 everywhere anyways.

DeepdiscountDVD does 20% off twice a year, once is usually around Christmas. Awesome deals. Otherwise Columbia House memberships are good if you don't mind buying 8 at a time (for less than $8 apiece)

blockbuster or rogers video previously viewed.
walk in store, view selection, buy 3 for $24 (Canadian) or $9.99ea.
