do you buy them online or through your eye doctor? and where can i find the best deals online? i have been buying them through my eye doctor but now i think i should look online for better deals. so, where do you get yours?
 
I checked out a few websites (1800contacts etc), walmart, the big name stores...it turns out my local eye doctor could give me the best deal. I wear 02 optics, so they aren't cheapies.
 
I compared general prices that my eye doctor gave me to 1-800-contacts and found them to be roughly equal. I've had good luck with optometrists so far, so I tend to be more willing to give them the business.

ditto. lens.com has been cheapest for me though you do get boxes with chinese lettering on them
 
I buy at Walmart because that's where I get my eyes checked. Since I always have to special order, their pick up times are pretty good.
 
I get them through aclens.com, but I go through Fatwallet, or mr.rebates first to get cashback, and then apply coupon that's around the web. Generally it's about 50% cheaper than getting it from the doctors.

Never had that happen to me. My eye doctor's office recommended both lens and another website, I think it was justlenses.com
 
When I get them I order online, but I nly ever wear them when I run or when I play basketball, so I order them maybe once every couple of years. Online was by far the cheapest way to get them.

Direct from eye doctor, but he's since moved across town, and I discovered that Costco sells them. I'll probably just get them from Costco in the future.

doctor was like $55 a box, and i need 8 boxes. a couple of places online was $45 a box. costco was $30 a box.
