Where do you buy your college textbook?
I only bought books through amazon and half.com, and pretty much anyplace I look online, it will be cheaper than my campus bookstore.

Got any other place you shop for textbooks? Please post, thanks!

Also, you can write off your text books on your taxes at the end of the year. I forget what its called though. Need to look that up before tax season rolls around.

Spring semester I will buy all brand new books, at the college bookstore. No hunting for used books, no hassles with outdated books, just fresh new ones...(can you tell I don't have to pay for them??

I saved 80% off my high school books

you had to buy books for high school?!

A lot of advanced programs make you buy your own textbooks.

Not in my HS. We had a nearly full complement of AP classes and some Syracuse University class alternatives (for seniors). The only books I ever had to buy were a few Shakespeare plays at $3-5 each.

I buy my books from the school's bookstore. I know I could save 50+% if I shopped around online, but I just pay the premium because I dont have the time and IM not willing to make the time to shop around and search for my books online.

Usually half.com. Only full scholarship or kiddies using mommy and daddy's money buy their books at the college bookstore.

Thus far I've managed not to firebomb the bloodsucking vampires who buy books back at the end of the semester or, the people who stand in line to do it but, it's a close thing!

Seconded. If you didn't bother to go to it, it compares prices at half.com, amazon, and a bunch of other online retailers, including shipping charges.
