Where do we go when WW3 happens?

Trump is going to start WW3 and it seems like it is his plan from the start. He makes friends with Russia and gets as many countries upset with America as possible. The list includes China, Mexico, Australia and an entire religion that includes 7 countries in the middle east. His national security adviser Steve Bannon believes a confrontation at the South China sea will happen and this will most likely be how WW3 starts. Link to him here saying it last year.

With that said, I want to come up with a bug out plan when things start to go south. I need radiation suits, food for months, and a bunker. Where should I start looking if i can't afford to build my own bunker?

Edit:
Trump also takes a hair loss drug that causes mental confusion.

Users report that its side effects — inability to orgasm, painful erections, chronic depression, insomnia, brain fog, and suicidal thoughts

Typical North Korean Nuke isn't going to be thermonuclear and likely will yield similarly to the two bombs we dropped on Japan. Depending on where it lands, it could have anywhere from a 5km to a 10km kill radius. Outside of that, to 30km you'll have severe damage and radiation burns but people will survive. outside of 30km there will be flash burns but otherwise not much of an issue.

Los Angeles is roughly 60x 60km and is too large to be destroyed by NK. They would likely target Long Beach Harbor and the naval stations up the coast along with downtown LA and SF. You will likely survive, but who knows. If you live in downtown LA or Long beach, you're probably screwed. But the south bay and hollywood hills should be fine because of their hilly landscapes which would limit the blast effects.

At issue also is the guidance of the missiles. North Korean missiles are not known for having excellent guidance, and north korea does not possess a GPS satellite or GLONASS or Baidu.... so they must rely on inertial guidance along with stellar guidance to hit their targets This makes it even more of a crapshoot as to whether they end up nuking Catalina or the inland empire accidentally. They have no way to reliably test such missiles, so they may just volley fire all of them at one target in order to get a better probability of hitting. They will have to circumvent both THAAD and Patriot missile defense systems, so no doubt they plan on firing every one of their missiles at once.... probably at one or very few targets. That could also play a part in the number of targets, because similar trajectories will have a higher probability of being shot down vs a large number of highly variable trajectories. Then there is the question of whether their warheads are MIRVs....So again, who knows?

So now we know why Trump is crazy. Apparently he takes a drug associated with mental confusion for hair loss.

Steve Bannon

Go build an ark disappoint.

Text needed on the post anyway, that used to be a thing in P&N.

The latest "citation needed" rant is even more out of bounds than posting a pic with no text, or it used to be.

Is not a judgement on anyone, other than the guy throwing the pics up trying to get someone busted.

That South China sea confrontation is gonna have to wait with no active aircraft carriers in the naval fleet, lmao.

I am actually "afraid" of WW3 although I didn't give a shit about it, having lived/born/raised in Europe where the fear of WW3 was ALWAYS present.
(We always knew Germany would be destroyed first being located right in the middle of East and West etc....so I sorta got tired about worrying about WW3)

But now I fear simply because all my "predictions" about Trump so far have come true...and of course most of us who don't like Trump also have some WW3 scenario...and...TBH I wouldn't be surprised if this also comes true sooner or later. Not surprised at all.

Anyway...stop worrying about "where to go" and read up on nuclear war...you will find that the idea about surviving, say in the US should the US be a major target (which is expected), is absurd. Because it doesn't require actually many nukes to entirely contaminate an entire country. Maybe 2-3 nukes would be enough. The rest is fallout/radiation etc. Only ignorant hicks would believe they could survive a major nuclear war. (Probably the same hicks who voted Trump, they probably have no idea about what nuclear war would actually mean, like 80% of Americans)

However I have some hope that any potential WW3 won't necessarily hit Southern Spain where I am right now..so I feel "sort of" safe. I wouldn't have said that 8 or so year ago living 20mls off Chicago :)

I still *think* tho that a major nuclear war will affect the entire globe. We're talking for example subs where one single sub has 16 missiles with 12 warheads each....just for starters...

The word you are looking for is deployed. In the event of a crisis several carriers would be deployed quickly if needed. There are 10 active carriers on the naval registry at the moment.

The majority of people will go to their graves. Those not dying in the immediate carnage would likely succumb over the following weeks and months and then years to starvation, violence and disease. There's plenty of fairly well researched speculative fiction out there for those interested. Those with enough wealth and resources could certainly increase their odds if they choose.

According to this movie the only place that survives WWIII is upstate New York in Albany.
I remember this movie fondly because it was on when I first got lucky :)

1977
Damnation Ally

First Lieutenant Jake Tanner (Jan-Michael Vincent) shares ICBM silo duty at an American air force missile base in the Californian desert with Major Eugene "Sam" Denton (George Peppard), who is requesting not to work with him. On their way to duty, Denton talks to Airman Tom Keegan (Paul Winfield), an aspiring artist. When the United States detects incoming nuclear missiles from the Soviet Union, Tanner and Denton launch part of the retaliatory strike. The United States is hit hard, although it manages to intercept 40% of Soviet missiles.

Two years later, the Earth has been tilted off its axis by nuclear detonations of World War III; radiation has mutated giant scorpions, the planet is wracked by massive storms, and the sky is in a perpetual aurora borealis-like state.

A lot of the speculative fiction is lame considering what would actually happen.

Unless you are underground and in a bunker you could live in long term with filters.
