The Special Edition has some cool new scenes. It is labeled as being a Director's Cut but Ridley Scott said that was for marketing and this is more of a new cut for fans.

Netflix Instant and a laptop and hooking it to your TV, may be the fastest way....

However something is wrong if you can't find the 2-disc special edition in stores....Or rental chains.....Try something other than Blockbuster....
