Where do they sell polarizing film for lcd's?

They do... Im gonna experiment in rotating the polarizing film to reverse lcd's....

Instead of black text on a bright orange background he wants bright orange text on a black background. Purely aesthetics, though with any color but orange, I would accept night-vision being an acceptable reason 🙂

This is what the "before" would be, but in orange instead of green

It's not impossible, necessarily, but both the front and rear polarizing filters would have to be rotated 90 degrees. Since the polarizing element is usually a treatment to the glass rather than a removable filter, I wouldn't expect this to work, though I'd be interested to be proved wrong.

Did he post how he did it?

Doh! Refresh first 😛

Its discussed at different parts throughout the thread... We started by just wanting to swap the one from the RX8 or Mazda6, but he went ahead and just did it himself...

Okay, the one in the corrado link just flipped his front filter 180 degrees to do it 😕

I wish I knew it was that easy when I converted mine from green to red. I swear I actually read the diagrams and decided it wouldn't work...

Apparently you can mark up "How an LCD works" to one more thing I know nothing about yet try to post authoritatively on 🙁
