Where do I mount the thermal sensors?

I want to monitor the temps of my CPU and video card processor. Where should I mount the temp probes to get the most accurate readings?

well your motherboard should have the cpu temp sensor and i have never put one on a vpu so i have no idea there. Why do you want tot monitor your vpu temps? they do not generally cook themselves before you start getting artifacts so as long as you have no artifats then yout card is safe(generally speaking).
