I have a shop that no one has mentioned so far....
Gateway
I got my AMD 1600 XP retail from Gateway.com and it was cheaper than newegg because of a 20 dollar off coupon I found in Hot deals!!!
Though I bought most of the rest of my system at Newegg.

Newegg 1Ghz Duron for $46 or something.

That and my ECS Mobo: Best bang for my buck ever.

All you non-newegg CPU buyning freaks can go home. I'm typing this in the house that newegg built and it rules!!!!!

OTOH you can just ignore the user reviews/comments on new egg. They delete most of the bad ones as far as I can tell from what I've posted and what actualy stays posted.

Two times. OEM CPU to TCWO (really!) and just two weeks ago directly to AMD. AMD is VERY backlogged on RMA's too!

Cheers!

Other than TCWO. I already know their warranty policy. :)

Seriously, when CPU's die... what do you do?
