Are we talking money, drugs, pron or nuclear weapon stash here?

Hmmm, maybe AgaBooga is really with the goverment and they're hoping that they'll find some WMD.

They should check the laundry room.

Crap, they don't include dirty socks and underwear with racing stripes as WMD now, do they?

No, but MrCodeDude's butt is a different story.

I was about to ask the same thing.

Of course, you guys realize any parent with half a brain will just search for movie files between 1-700MB and be done...right?
And any parent with a full brain will seach for ANY file between 1-700MB, and eliminate the obvious duds, then rename the questionables to filename.AVI and try to play them...

Well, maybe I'm giving parents too much credit here.

That's assuming the parent can actually use a computer somewhat. 😀 My parents nor my friends' parents would know how to do that.

porn = /home/eigen/media/porn/
weed= on the table, dresser, pockets...
other drugs= I am not telling you that.

back in my day, my stash was beer. I put it in the fridge in the basement. It would really piss me off when my dad would run out of beer upstairs and drink my beer

Back when I was younger and had to hide stuff,I had a set of Pioneer speakers with 12inch subs in my room, one of them only had 2 screws holding the speaker in 😉

I used to hide small bags in my outlets in my room. Take off the plate and store some stuff in there. When I was really young my Playboys were in between my mattresses. I used to have a place in my first car that could hold a nice large bag securely.

computer porn = D:\Porn\

videos / magazines = there's currently a vhs tape inside the vcr in my bedroom, and a magazine on the floor next to my bed; everything else is on a shelf inside my closet.

it's nice having my own place... it means that I don't have to hide my porn from my parents and siblings anymore. when I was younger (junior high / high school), my older sister used to ransack my room and computer looking for my porn so that she could use it to blackmail me.

when I did live at home (pre-college), I kept my computer porn on floppy disks (this was in the days before broadband and cd burners, so all my computer porn consisted of low-res pics). the rest of my porn was hidden away in my closet, in a brown box under a pile of D&D books 😛

When I was hiding anything but pr0n, I used to use carefully altered VHS tapes, with certain key parts removed so the VCR would spit them back out without trying to rotate the tape. Worked like a charm, but took around three minutes to actually get into the thing.

Now, pr0n on the other hand; D:\network\fserve_root\.

This is true, my parents are still learning to use the computer. But really, if you wanted a simple barrier that the novice parent can't break, make the folder "hidden" and remove viewing of hidden objects 🙂 Even the search function can't penetrate that.

heh, penetrate...😀
