Where did Carrot Top come from?

You mean Scott Thompson? (J/K I just looked that up)...

I know he's been a comedian for a long time. I used to see him at the local comedy clubs. He also used to go to college where I went. His AT&T Commercials are annoying at a minimum, but, if he makes $$$ doing it more power to him.

I like his prop humor, some of it's gay, but, he knows it so it's funny anyway.

Anyone see the one movie he starred in, see: Chairman of the Board? God was that awful. 2.4/10 @ IMDB. It had courtney thorne-smith in it, probably why it got a 2.4.

Carrot Top was a wildly successful comic in the early 90's. I'm pretty sure he had an HBO special of his comedy. He was on all the talk shows (like Leno), and did tons of acts on programming that belongs on comedy central. I've got to admit, some of his comedy routines are about the funniest stuff I've ever seen (although he himself is very annoying). Then he kindof faded out of the picture. Suddenly he is back in the spotlight with those commercials. The problem is they aren't using his comedy, and all that is left is his annoying self.

did you know one of his favorite movies is 'chairman of the board' ?

not sure about you, but i find the idea of him saying that is up there along with the likes of 'caddyshack' and '10' (mmmm bo derek) is more frightening than his acting.

which is frightening indeed.
