Didn't say they did start it...but Aimster should maybe prove they are wrong. There is a 50/50 chance they are right (either they did or didn't start it.)

Also, saying homosexuals started AIDS isn't racist, as the last time I checked there was no "homo" checkbox on enrollment forms between "hispanic" and "native american."

I wouldn't say they started it. They're simply responsible for its proliferation.

Many people I know have a penchant for telling "Qwerty facts." (So named because one of the facts my father once told me is that the inventor of the keyboard was named Qwerty, hence his name appearing in the top row.)

Another such "fact" is that AIDS was initially named GRIDS, or Gay Related Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Is there any truth to that? (not that it is gay related, but that is what it was called at one point.)
