Don't laugh, but I am completely THRILLED with a unit I got a couple months ago from a discount plumbing supply.

Find out what toilets are used in large businesses. Usually businesses will by a very large sized bowl, and have very strong flush power for all the different types of asses/bowel power from the different people who work. The toilets at my work are pretty nice and large, and they flush down everything without any trouble.![]()

OT: Why are commercial toilets different from home toilets? Home toilets all have the reservoir, while commercial toilets always just have a pipe coming out of the wall. Commercial toilets always have good power and they don't use much water, it seems. Is there a reason why these aren't installed in people's homes? Are the water lines under higher pressure in commercial buildings or something?
Back on topic: At a hotel once, there was a toilet with what looked like a mini-keg in the reservoir. That sucker shot out water fast! It sounded like a jet taking off or something. WOOOOSH! I'd like to have one of those![]()

I've been waiting for this thread for years and now I just don't know what to say.
My favorite toilets are still the two piece kind. The tank is mounted on the wall about 6 feet up and a chain with a handle hangs down from the flush handle. You get a heck of a flush from the extra height.
I just replaced an old high volume commode in one of the upstairs bathrooms with one of the new 1.6 gallon flushers. It probably wouldnl't work for sh!t (pardon the pun) except the waste line takes a straight 12 foot drop from the commode to the basement before it hits the first elbow.
Damn, I'm getting fuzzy all over feelings talking toilet. Maybe I shoulda been a plumber.
