Where can you get a kitchen scrub brush like this

One of my former roommates left this in the kitchen: Photo

That was maybe 5 years ago and it's way the worse for wear, but it is still useful - very useful. In fact, it's great. It's just the thing for certain functions when cleaning dishes, pots, pans, etc. I have been trying to find a new one somewhere and had no luck in the local stores. I live in Berkeley, CA. Has anybody seen these for sale? As you can see, the handle looks like lathe-turned wood (unfinished), and the bristles are natural. Thanks for any leads.

That's a kitchen scrub brush? You should be able to pick that up at any major one-stop-shop store in the kitchen section. However, that's styled like an old men's shaving cream brush :Q

As Nik said, I doubt that's a kitchen brush. That's a shaving-cream brush....

Edit:

Actually, those bristles look a little too stiff to be a shaving cream brush...

Yep, you're right. Except the bristles aren't genuine boar bristles (or whatever they use), but something tougher. I haven't gone into a whole lot of stores looking for one, but I have looked in a fair number and so far haven't seen one - the larger hardware stores, Chinatown. This thing is definitely not for shaving but for cleaning your pots, pans and dishes. Take my word for it - it's a great addition to your kitchen sink cleanup tools.

They sell kitchen scrub brushes that look like that at the grocery store or any department store. I've seen them at Target, recently.

There's a deep concrete sink sitting 40 feet from me that has a brush like this sitting on it. It's used to clean the grubby coffee pot here. There *are* kitchen tools made in the style of an old men's shaving cream brush, but they're not as common as other mildly-abrasive kitchen tools.

Notice the bristles on that brush -- that is not for shaving, unless you guys have steel chins 😉

Try Amazon. They have the "newer" dish brushes: here and here

Thanks! There's a Target not too far from me. I'll definitely have a look when I get over that way.
