I work for my college campus doing tech work, and you guess it : cleaning up laptops and computer with spyware all over it. If your idea of shits and giggles is to give someone some extra work, i'm sorry that's just sad. Perhaps you can go to CompUSA after you return it and harass some employees. fvck you jackass.

yes

I concur.

agreed

not that you'd be able to dl and install anything anyway, unless somehow you got admin rights, which would be completely retarded on the school's part, because there are dumbasses who don't know what they're doing and people like you.

edited for clarity

Stupid idea, but I have to admit it is kinda fun to load a computer with spyware.

Here at work our managers wanted us to test how effective MS Anti-Spyware was before we started using it. So we freshly imaged a machine, and then spent like and hour browsing every spyware ridden site we could find, installing various spyware apps, etc. We had that thing slowed to a crawl. Then we ran Anti-spyware on it, and it did a hell of a job cleaning it up. After that we ran adaware to clean up what was left, and were pretty amazed how well the combo did. Anyway, it was kinda fun loading up a machine we didn't care about.

That said, don't do what you are planning to do, that's just being an ass.

go do some searches for cracks, keygens, and serials. I ran a fresh install of xp, no patches and that machine was locked up within 30 seconds when I visited site with that stuff. I did this as an experiment, and damn did it work, took me about 2 days to clean the drive so i could put it on the network again. had roughly 100 viruses and the such. good luck.

thats another thing though, i don't want to fvck up the network by having them plug it in and having something spread

i just thought it might be funny if the tech turned on the computer and saw a purple monkey jumping around the screen

but im not gonna risk screwing over the school network

heh, oddly enough that happened on the schools network. i was smart enough to yank the ethernet cord out when the cpu went to 100% and the network connectivity light was flashing faster than I've ever seen.
