Hey people. I've had a lot of computer exprience and would like to go into some sort of field working with networking/technology/computers. My ACT was 25 but I'll be retaking it soon, and plan to do much better. I've got a 3.15 GPA, but am taking AP courses. (calc, psych, bio, etc) I live up in the thumb of michigan. What do you guys recommend? I want to go to a fun school, but also holds a good standing the the tech. field.

An idea I had was to get my undergrad in state (for the sake of being close to friends and such), then go to the coast for my grad. degree. I'm open for all suggestions, so please help a fella out. I'm a senior right now so I need to get going ;)

BTW- I really like UofM but you don't think I could get in do you? I haven't taken any foreign languages, instead I took extra math, science, computer type classes.

thanks
-Colin

junior college slows you down.... have you seen any counselors from school regarding choosing a college?

If you're not satisfied with where you get in for college, remember that you can always transfer. Transferring is pretty easy if you do well (get a good GPA) your Freshman year. Ultimatly, bad grades in college are usually a result of partying too much, so if you work hard for one year in college, you can make up for unsatisfactory performance in 4 years of high school. Still, you should be able to get into U-M, if you are a Michigan state resident. What hurts you most is the fact that you haven't taken a foreign language. See if you can rectify that by taking some foreign language classes right now at a local community college.
