where can I get those cool Asian calenders in asian restaurants?

I just came back from a chinese restaurant, I was wondering where the get thos calenders and pictures with the cool artwork, the one I was looking at was from a food importer.
anyplace to get them w/o advertising?

Yep...they have *tons* of advertising stuff that wholesalers just send to them by the boatload. I've got tons of those accordian type lampshades from them...

Yup, chinese grocery stores. May have to ask, they don't always give out willingly. Some stores require you to buy however much $$ of grocery before they give you one.

yeah, us chinese are kinda selective to who we give calendars to. i mean, how many calandars featuring women we dont have a snowball's chance in hages's with do you think we get every year from "eddie-ah" in orlandO? (hint its not too many). so we dont really give them out to gewi lo's too often.

however, lots of asian markets have their own printed. try there

you might also want to try any asian banks.. if you have any.. ie, san francisco has "bank of the orient" they always give away callenders.. but yah, best bet is gonna be a chinese grocery store

you're more likely to get a couple for free that way.
