Where can I get replacement headlights for a Honda...

I want a set of Factory headlights, It doesnt have to be OEM but I want OEM quality not cheaply made ones. I just want the actual headlight units, and a set of clear sidemarkers. All I can find are crappy projector headlights, I have a set of those and I don't like the way they look.

I need new ones though as the originals are kind of fadded/hazy, and have some cracks...
Does anyone know a good place to pick a set of these up?

Its for a 95 civic EX 2Dr if it matters.

Thanks,
Josh

Good luck finding OEM-style taillights or headlights for a Honda. Those are the first things ricebois replace (after the coffee-can mod).

Noob, that means people sell their old headlights/tail lights on Honda-tech when they get their new rice ones.

Try the Honda-tech fs/t section

I must be the only person ever not to sell my OEM parts when I replaced them.

You're not the only one. I kept all my OEM parts for my A4, just in case...

Ricers generally sell their old stuff so they have $$ to buy more rice for their car. I'm surprised you don't do this...

Well, I know the situation, I had my car serviced and I asked the guy how much it would cost to have the headlights replaced (96 Civic). He said that the headlights itself would cost ($200 each), but I can find them for around $100 each. Then $300 in labor because they have to take the bumper off and some other stuff. Yeah I know it's rip off and the service guy even told me that.

His advice was to just drive with the high-beam on .

My girlfriend has a 97 civic and the headlights are junk, they are yellowed and hazy and probably let about 60% of the light through these days.

I discovered that hitting them with some polishing compound cleared them up for a couple months. Today I was bored and tried to wax them, which also got them a lot clearer than before. Just a tip. Don't know what the wax will do long term...

I was going to buy her either a new set of OEM or possibly some riced out ones (anything would be better than not being able to see at night) but I keep hoping she'll sell the pos...

Ebay seemed to have some "not too ricey" ones for about $90 a set.

Yea I put on the projectors that I had today, you do have to take the bumper cover off, not a real big deal for anyone. I didnt like the light they let out, I got them for free but they cost $300. If anyone has a 92-95 civic, ill let them go for $100. I just want factory looking clear headlights mainly not projectors.

Josh

Yeah, Ebay projectors suck horribly. Throw some HIDs in there and you'll get some decent light output. What bulbs are in the projectors, H3's?

I just replaced the headlight bulb on my 98 Accord, it was one of the easiest thing to do. I bought the OEM part from dealership for $14 (rip-off I know) but I get to know my car better. Nice trade-off I think.

I've got a 96 Civic, and no need to take the bumper off to change the head lights. I've changed both headlights and didn't have to take anything but the three screws holding them off.

BTW, I bought my head lights at a scrap yard. They look almost new and were a third of the price of new ones.
