Where can I get good software to catalog my videotape collection?

um, don't you mean a database? I was cataloguing all my computer games on one the other day. very unexciting but quite easy, lotus approach.

I don't really know how to use a database program. I've tried but I can't quite get the results I want. I would like some little program that I only have to enter my info into and forget about.

no really approach was free on a magazine disk and it was really easy. it starts by asking you to define a few fields, what kind of data and length to them. then you type in your record stuff. i thought it would be a pain but it is easy. databases CAN look scary I admit.

Try going here and go to the home inventory section. They have several shareware programs that may suit your needs.

You could use DVD Tracker ... even though it's for DVDs I don't see why it wouldn't work for tapes as well.

This might sound stupid, but a suggestion no less... have you considered Excel? To keep track of the divx's I burn, I just enter it into an Excel sheet...
