I've been hearing about all the benefits of cooking with coconut oil, and I want to give it a try. I've searched a bit online for it, and found a lot of sources, but the price seems to vary a lot. Can anyone suggest a place to get good coconut cooking oil at a reasonable price?

Best quality I have used:
http://www.healthau.com/

They will ship to the USA. Keep in mind that the prices are listed in NZ$. After conversion, it will be significantly cheaper in USA$.

I thought there was a really big health scare a few years back about coconut oil in popcorn sold at cinemas?

I use cold pressed olive, coconut, or grapeseed depending on what I'm cooking and at what temperature it needs to be. I find it all at my local natural market.
