Once again I ask... Have you owned a CM stacker to make that call Louisssss?

To the OP, if the stacker is your fancy, then give it a shot.

i'd like to but i cant believe shipping is so much on them, i cant justify paying that much in shipping.

i hear and read nothing but great things about the case and the last time i researched a case to buy it was ironically between the V1200plus and the CM stacker...i went for the V1200, but it was neck and neck all the way lol... now its another build and its time to get the stacker if i can find an nVidia one...:)

PM Tullphan. I think he recently bought an 830 of some version, but I think he bought it from an individual instead of a reseller.

CentralComputers (in Silcon Valley) ships UPS ground for $20.

Looks like Case-Mod ships for under $23.

Whether they are actually IN STOCK is the next question.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a case with a vid card logo on it - I might decide to go with another brand of card down the line. And considering these logo-bearing cases like this and the L-L P80 Crossfire cost more than the standard models, I'm paying for some big card company's advertising - no thanks! If they want me to advertise for them, they pay ME!

i did for a long while, even the cosmos S. if it didnt have that crazy insanely large fan on the side i would have gotten it and i would have gotten the regular cosmos if it had a front fan intake.

Shipping costs are based on density. The Rocketfish Full tower's adjusted ship weight was 54 pounds because it was so light for the size of the box (only 26 pounds actual). So I could pack up to another 28 pounds of stuff in the box (assuming it could be done w/o harming the case) and pay no extra shipping.

The C-M aluminum cases may also be light for the volume of the box, so you get the adjusted ship weight of 70 pounds. These adjustments are based on how much weight a standard trailer can carry vs the inside volume of the trailer. The shipper sites have the formulas they use for their adjustments, so you can check for yourself to see if the automatic calculator (where you punch in the actual weight and measurements) is doing it correctly. Generally the adjustment doesn't kick in until the box gets into the oversize category (usually over 84 inches total length plus girth).
