i think i actually asked this before... did a search and came up nil..

so what's a good place to get an authentic and good tasting super burrito for cheap? $5-$7 range..

la pinata in alameda for like $6-7 gave you this huge hunk of super burrito that's could be considered 2 meals.. but i dont live there anymore and it's abit far for me to go just for a burrito..

thanks..

<< in seattle, la vaca on university way has a nice big one for ya. >>

How far is that from the Amtrak train station? I might be visiting Seattle soon.

Hey dakata24
There is actually a great Mexican place in Newark. I forget the name, but it is on the corner of Newark Blvd and Cedar. It is next to a togos and a Mr. Chau's

the amtrak station... downtown? if it's downtown, it's like a 15-30 minute bus ride. catch either 71, 72, or 73 going to the university (northbound). i'm by no means a mexican food connoisseur though... all i know is that they have large portions for around 5-6 dollars and it tastes good 🙂 there's a lot of good thai places around the ave from what i hear though. i don't really like thai, but if you like it, you might want to drop by.

Their Dos Manos are killer!

I dislike Baja Fresh, it's like an upgraded version of Taco Bell. Local authentic Mexican food is what I like, where the employees barely speak English.

gopunk - Thanks.

haha. mr. chau's.. gotta love those commercials... 😛

i need to check out that place.... and other places mentioned... una mas, baja fresh (closest in san jose, but at least it' in the south bay)

*drool* haven't had non-taco bell burrito in a long time...

edit: no freebirds world burrito around here.. but quite curious what the size diff is between the monster and super monster.. 🙂

there's a place in san jose by SJSU called Iguana Taqueria, or something like that. They have a burrito that's a foot and a half long. But they don't taste that good. Too much rice. Not enough meat. I think it's on 3rd street, across the street from McDonalds and Pizza a-go-go

Tacos Acapulco (11th St. next to 7-11) and Super Taqueria (it's a small chain) have good burritos too. Lengua (beef tongue) and carnitas burritos are the best at Super Taqueria

Okay... do this...
Go down mission blvd to union city...
look on your left side...
eventually you will come to a mexican supermarket called Mexica Supra or something...
in that parking lot from 11-6 weekdays there is a small trailer...
These guys sell BIG burritos with authentic ingredients on the inside mmmmm, good...
Costing about 3.50 and weighing about 3 pounds its WELL worth it...
Dimensions? 4 inches wide 8 inches long...

A very super burritio

I must admit, being a high school student on a closed campus, even i have made the trip down to this place to get a super burritio.
