lol, not that this has anything to do with you, but I remember back in the early 90's, you were so cool if you used "shell account" in context. Like you were the coolest if you had one or knew someone who did, because you were a cool hacker for sure.

/me goes back to corner and sucks thumb.

I remember the days when it was 1337 to know someone with a shell account.

I still don't know WTF one does.

Heh, I have a couple shell accounts, I think. At least one I can think of... it's nothing special, just a shell on someone else's machine. I have shells on my own machines too, same deal, except its just someone elses computer vs. your own, and they're across the net, etc etc.

I doubt you can get a free one anywhere, especially one that'll let you run a bot. I've got about five shells, and all of them are on servers that my friends run...that's about the only way to get one free.

There are still a few public access shell servers around.

I let one guy run an IRC bot on my server already, don't feel like setting up another account.

bot suggestions anyone?

I was going to run eggdrop, but the shell account I have doesnt support tcl.

so any suggestions?
