Where can I get a decent external CDRW??

So I have this laptop without a CD burner and I would like to get a cheap and decent one. There doesn't seem to be any deals about external CD burners. I don't think i'd have any use for a DVD burner I just want to burn CDs quickly and easily with an external burner.

Help!

I have an Iomega one (think it's something like 32X burn rate, or something respectable). Back in the day (~1.5 years ago now?) it was about $150.) Just make sure that the laptop has USB 2.0. Or you'll have to get a PCMCIA/PC Card that supports it. USB 1.0 burning is not good.

One thought? Get an external HDD enclosure and a normal CDRW? might be cheaper that way...

There is such a thing as a PCMCIA/PC card that supports USB 2.0???? where can I find one? I really don't know much about computer hardware.

If you already have an internal writer, then you can just get an external case. I've done it with 8x dvd writer before and it works rock solid.

Yeah, for the USB 2.0 thing, I have a Belkin that's proven to work just fine. Only downside with it is that it can't power a memory stick -- I suppose the memory stick needs too much power. But it works great with CD-RW and an external HDD. Good luck.
