I recentlly purchased cell phones from verizon for my fiance and I. I got a Samsung SCH a530 and she got an a310. They both had rebates and the rebates ask for either the serial number or ESN number. I have no idea what the ESN number is although on the UPC there is an ESN HEX number and an ESN DEC number. While I don't know a ton about it, I am assuming those numbers are the same just one in decimal and the other in hexadecimal, right? If so do i just use the decimal number for the rebate?
I would think the serial number would be listed on the box but I don't see it specifically labeled, but then I though maybe ESN stands for something like electronic serial number or something. Anybody care to enlighten me.
