where can i find standoffs?

i need some plastic or nylon stand offs, or washers to attach the mainboard to the case, do you know where i can get them from? any ideas?

Usually the standoffs are threaded metal studs or spring-steel clips. Do you know what brand/model of case you've got there?

what i'm afraid of is causing a short in the mainboard if i use metal ones, no washers came with, the case is enlight atx 340w mid tower and the mainboard is a msi kt3 ultra 2. what do you advise?

You can get fiber washers to go between the metal standoffs and the motherboard, if you want. They're available from some hardware stores and probably at Radio Shack too. Normally they're not required. The motherboard is ordinarily installed directly to the metal studs (or spring clips in the case of an Enlight). The key thing is to make sure there are not any clips that don't correspond to a hole in the motherboard, since a stray one may indeed touch something it shouldn't.
