I got the need for speed.

After reviewing several RAM listings, it seems there's nothing certain at this time.

G. Skill seems to have changed.

Are the Buffalo Firestix still Micron for sure ?

Are Crucial Ballistix a sure bet either ? Seems they don't use the D9GMH's.

Thanks for any help !

The best chance for D9's are crucial ballistix as crucial is owned by micron.

The 8000 firestix were confirmed D9GKX.

I'm not sure about the 6400 firestix.

Gskill 8000HZ's are D9GMH

Thanks. I've been through most of the Xtremesystems thread and also the listing at http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/

Here's something that I cannot find any info on ...

What is the difference between Micron D9GMH and Micron D9DQW ? Seems clear that the Micron D9GKX is king of the hill, but wonder where the other two fall in rank ?

D9DQW is renowned 3.7ns "Fatbody" rectangular chips, while the D9GMH are 3.0ns regular square chips, I believe. I have both and the GMH o/c higher :)
