i was also about to recommend digital blasphemy

basically what I do these days though is just Google for "widescreen wallpaper" and then use PicLens to browse for something that catches my eye.

I've been using webshots for a desktop manager for years. You can download up to 5 pro shots a day and have the program change your desktop wallpaper as often as you like. You may have to use IE with their website.
