Where can I find engines?

Im interested in buying an H22A for my 89 Accord LX and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a good deal on rebuilt engines.

I just saw an episode of Crank & Chrome where they bought a rebuilt engine and dropped it in their explorer. They really didn't say where to find rebuilders but local mechanics and the yellow pages are a good place to start.

Look for cars totaled in a rear end collision at auto wreck places too. The engine may be the only thing worth anything on it. Unless that can mess up the engine beyond minor repair? I don't know, just an idea I had driving through the cheaper part of town a couple days ago (there's a few auto wrecking/junk yards down there).

I know you can get engines from japan that have low miles (they have to replace them after something like 30K)

Seriously? That sounds insane.. 30K aint that much. Maybe it is in such a small area.. hmm. Still, I wouldn't think that 30K wouldn't be enough. The reason there must be emissions?
