Where can I find either the Swiftech MC462 or the PEP66T?

I would prefer the MC462, since this is going onto a KT7A, but if its not out, then i will have to settle for a PEP.

Nevermind, I found it at www.swiftnets.com... only problem is that there is a 4 week wait for one! yipes!!!

AFAIK, they are not available yet. I checked into them a week ago. Called swiftech and found out that they are having supply problems pertaining to the fans they use. You can get the bare heatsink, but it has a two week wait, also. With the fan, they are saying at least four weeks. Go to their website. link If you have any luck finding one, let us know. I am still very interested, although the new Taisol looks very nice as well.

I see you found everything yourself before I could answer. I'll give you a little more [discouraging] information. It seems the fans have been on backorder for awhile and the delivery dates have already been pushed back more than once. Bottom line=They aren't even that sure about the 4 week wait.

Ooo. That's the combo I was going to go with too. My main concern being the matter of it actually fitting. Have you seen the MC462 actually lock down on a 7A with enough clearance to not crush the capacitors? I've been mailing the cooler online measurement spec sheet to various distributors to make sure it will work on a KT7A, but have yet to find one who can:

1) Understand that the spec sheet means I want them to actually take a ruler to a physical motherbord that they intend for me to purchase and make sure one of the measurements fall into the little red areas in the picture.

2) Understand how to read the picture well enough to realize there are even measurements there.

Hmm, think about where the hot air is going... they are different designs. The PEP is meant to exhaust to the side.

With all the hype the Switftech Heatsink has received. It will be pretty hard to find it within the next couple weeks.
