Where can I find discount ink jet cartidges

You didn't offer many specifics for someone seeking help. Do you want cheap OEM carts, 3rd party compatible carts or refill kits and for what printer? I just bought a refill set from Ink-Tech Enterprise in Ohio at www.inkkitsales.com which have worked quite well so far. But I don't have a photo-quality printer - just an old Xerox C6 I got on clearance for $30.

Oh, BTW, your question belongs in the IWANNA thread at the top of this section even though we all know that's like a black hole - put your wanna in an' no kenna ever comes out.

Yep, with 89 posts, you're a seasoned veteran around here... 😀

You might consider getting a Canon printer. The ink cartridges for Canon's are much cheaper than the injustice by HP and Lexmark. 🙂

About Canon vs. HP. I have an HP 750, I printed a ream of paper (~500 pages, mostly b/w engineering HW solutions, powerpoint slides) before my first black cartridge died. That includes the printing of my roommates whose Canon models had all died. All three of theirs died, and needed replacement of the whole print assembly, not just the tiny little black cartridges, which are priced conveniently at $49.99. So one actually bought the new cartridge assembly, while the others mooched off me for a quarter. Canon's may seem cheap, but they're really really small, and are literally just ink, not the whole printing assembly, unlike HP. (Is assembly the right word?) I don't mean to be rude, but I've had great luck with HPs and terrible luck with Canons.

All the local computer type swapmeets have people selling ink, but whether you get a good deal depends on the printer model. Newer printers put chips in the cartridges so you have to use brand name replacements and often cannot easily refill them.

Printers are disposable. When you use up the ink carts that come with it, buy another cheap printer and sell the old one without carts to some sucker on Ebay.

Try Staples with a coupon, OM with a coupon, or search pricewatch.com.

The coupons can be found at other sites 🙂

Manufacturer Cartridges: Office Depot with a $15 off $30 or $15 off $50 or $25 off $75 coupon.

Remanufactured Cartridges: Another vote for Ink4Art with a 40% off coupon.

But this thread should be locked ...

are Ink4Art ink cartridges decent for printing pictures? I know that some of these remanufactured inks do not print pictures very well. The refills for Epson C80 12 pack is an awesome deal if these inks are any good.
