Where can I find a loosely accurate guide to disassembling and reassembling laptops?

Compaq Presario 1214SR

850mhz Duron
192MB Ram
14.1TFT (or something)
8x CDRW

etc etc etc.

I have looked around and been unable to find a guide for taking this apart and putting it back together. I've done this with many electronics, and countless desktops, but a laptop is a little different. Especially since it is working at the moment.

Thanks

Here is a guide:

Remove all the screws from the bottom after removing all removable devices like the battery and possibly the optical drive, although there usually are not any screws near the memory so you can leave the ones for the memory door in place. Remove any screws from the back of the laptop, the hex nuts usually stay in. It depends on the brand, but remove any covers above the keyboard or around the hinges. Remove and screws below the keyboard. Some brands require you to remove the LCD screen at the hinges. Unplug the cables you and remove the cover. All laptops use plastics clips to hold the plastic together, just push the plastic to the side, laterally, and pull up. Yes it will make a snapping sound, but unless you are using brute force, you will not break anything. The insides are you usually straightforward, just remember that most cables are ZIF, so there is a release lever on them. If you don't have good memory, write down where each of the screws go. To reassemble, put the cable back in the socket and push down the lever. Snap the plastics back together and replace the screws.

I am not trying to be a smarta$$ here, just providing a loosely accurate guide. All laptops are held together by screws and plastics clips.

I'd be careful dismantling a notebook. Not only are notebooks literal jigsaw puzzles, but it invalidates your warranty . . . but given the age of your notebook that may not be a concern.
