Where can I find a listing of Merrill Lynch's Vice Presidents?

I'm sure there's a lot of them but this is a public company and I'm not getting anywhere.

I want to know this information because I was at a club last night and this guy left my girlfriend's female friend a Merrill Lynch business card with his name (Leyland or Layland Richards) and he was a vice president for "global leveraged finance" at the company. It looked legit but I don't want to say anything yet until I can do a checkup on him. Besides, they kept asking my opinion about him since I'm getting doctoral degree in Economics. I don't know why this girl has a hard time getting men because she's Japanese, absolutely beautiful (passes easily for a model), great dancer, and only 24. She's been asking me for months to hook her up with someone successful, but with a low sex drive (She really doesn't like sex).

Can anyone here help me out? I really don't want to go downtown or call and ask about this guy. I'm thinking that since he's a VP, his name should be important enough to show up in a google search. Thanks in advance.

That's what I was thinking. If she wants to be hooked up with a guy with a low sex drive that will never happen. They don't exist.

That's what I was thinking. If she wants to be hooked up with a guy with a low sex drive that will never happen. They don't exist.

I'm sure they exist. She likes older men that are talkative. But how can I find this guy, if he exists?

That's quite a lady there... cares more about how successful the guy is than sex (or apparantly anything else). I'm sure Merrill Lynch has TONS of vice presidents, but then again I'm sure a lot of guys use fake business cards to get a girl in the sack.

Actually, VP at a place like Merrill is fairly meaningless. VPs at most I-banks are a dime a dozen. I'm sure you could probably call Merrill's main line and ask an operator to do a search by name and department. Just pretend to be a new client/business contact who misplaced his business card.

This assumption is possibly wrong. Here is a list of a typical progression of titles:

Analyst (Bachelor's)
Associate (MBA, sometimes PhD)
(Associate Vice Principal)
Vice Principal (Vice President? not sure about this one)
Principal or Associate Director
Managing Director

The question is if his title is VP or if he's a group head. If he's any younger than 35, the second is extremely unlikely. A scan of the card (blur phone numbers) could be helpful.

If you're lucky, someone from Merrill will read your request and look up the guy in their internal directory. The information you need is probably not publicly available.

VPs in i-banks are dime a dozen. it's the natural progression from associate and the lucky few get there as soon as three years are up. it's not unusual for guys in late twenties, early thirties to have the title.

However, the title in such a place usually will be more honorary that anything else.
