Where can I find a good Dehumidifier

I always found that the big downside to using a standalone humidifier in the spring/summer months, particularly in a small apartment or in a bedroom, is that the compressor in the thing generates heat. Running the AC in your place should also dehumidify the air. Is that an option for you?
