Where can I D/L the Wmplug codec?

I'm having a problem playing my anime divx's. They run fine on my friends computer but it wont on mine. I checked and it seems that he has a WMplug codec. Where can I d/l this or how could i copy the codec from his comp to move into mine? I have XP and he has 98se btw. Thanks

sounds like windows media plugin codec, maybe it is microsofts mpeg 4 codec? in which case that should be available via windows update, which divx codec do you have installed on your machine?
 
well i found a solution for it... i just installed the old divx alpha codec.... i was running the newest divx but the audio codec for that wasnt working... everything is fine now.. thanks anyway
