Should be able to request them at your bank. There are some sites that can get them too.

Second, why didn't you pay the subscription?

AlphaIVT,

You're 15 years old. I doubt if you even have a credit file yet.

Credit starts when you turn 18. Just hang on to your SSN, don't give it out.

My sister went to apply for a new apartment a few months ago. Maybe 8 months after she turned 18. Someone had somehow ran up a few thousand bucks worth of CC bills using her SSN. She had to fight with Equifax for over a month to get it cleared up. We were about to the point where she was gunna send me a power of attorney and have me walk into Equifax's HQ here in Atlanta and take care of it.

http://www.freecreditreport.com offers a free report if you sign up for their service. First 30 days for free, then you gotta cancel.

http://www.equifax.com will give you your credit report for like 10 bucks er something. In some states the bureaus have to give you a free credit report once or twice a year when you request it.

At 15, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

AlphaIVT,

This is the quote you were looking for:

<< AlphaIVT,

Yes, you are marked for life. Thirty years in to the future, the black mark will pop up on bank computer screens all over the world. You will never be able to get a credit card, a car loan, or buy a home. You're screwed.

Actually, their threat has about as much import as your teacher telling you that "this will go on your permanent record!"
>>

Now, please go look up the word "sarcasm".

LOL.... I am reminded of the movie "A Christmas Story" when they dare that kid to stick his tongue to a frozen pole and he does it and they don't speak up and tattle because it will go on their permanent record.....
