I have the Antec SX1000II, it's also the same case many of their case, like the SX1040 or SX 1080. These cases has the front grille filter which I cannot seem to find anyone who has it. I contact Antec but they don't sell them separately. So does anyone knows where I can find it? Mine got torn by accident.
Thanks.

Scissors are your friend. An inexpensive AC filter will make several filters. I got my last AC filter at Home Depot for less than a dollar. I even put a coarse and fine layer inside the bezel. They are washable and reuseable. I have the Antec sx830 case which should use the same amount of filter. It also helps keep down the squeaking due to vibration.

Yeah, I also use the foam type AC filter and cut to size. The best I've found is made in Clearwater, FL and is sold at Walmart.

If Antec doesn't sell it then is it even a part you can buy? Maybe you have to repurchase the entire case or front panel?

From me! I can't use this as it doesn't fit my chieftech clone. I paid $8 and change for it.

Do you have one of the Chieftech Dragon models?

I've been looking for a filter for mine and haven't found one. What are you planning on doing?

Note, the Antec has a screen not a filter. As some have suggested a foam A/C filter cut to size will keep out substantially more dust. If done right it fits like the stock screen.

Yup, my plan is to leave it sit the way it is and clean it once a month or so.

best thing to use is panty hose, hardly any air restriction yet keeps all the crap out, sounds silly but i use it on all my rigs...makes a big difference, then all you have to do is vacuum it off...next best is a used dryer sheet.

Thanks dude. That's a great idea and it's cheap since my wife probably has one lying around.
Cool.
