What the hell kind of classes do you have where you have to spend 42 hours/week on "related stuff"?

A paper doesnt take THAT long to write.

Reading. Re-reading. Spacing out during reading and re-reading. Algorithm designs. Code implementations. Random tangents based on those that aren't really related to anything except my own motives to better learn the language. Papers. Re-writing papers. Presentations. Group meetings.

Teh noes. I have 36 hours of class a week. And that's just lectures, tutorials and labs. Suck it up, and make time if you need to.

Trying to pull an engineering degree in 2 years or something?

42 hours still seems like a hell of a long time for all of that stuff.

About twice a day, 2 hours or so an incident, more on Sundays (since Sunday is sane).

And that's not counting class time.

You need to stop the stressed life. Try it my way:

Class - 17.5 hrs/week
Homework/studying - 35 hrs/week
Work? Nah.
Volunteer? No.
Girlfriend talking/seeing - 5-20 hrs/week depending on whether I'm home or not
Sleep - 49 hrs/week

Let's see, what does that leave, around 50 hrs/week? Time to relax, time to eat, time to take long hot showers, time to do nothing, time to catch up on your sanity, etc...

Mmmm. Sanity. I remember when I had that.

/me enjoys a moment's rest before he remembers something else that's due.
