Where Can I Buy One of Those Shaving Blades?

The ones that looks like a knife? I'm not sure what they're called but I would assume you would never have to buy replacement blades right?

FYI You can buy blades on ebay for most shaving brands for less than half the cost at a retail store. Like Mach 5 blades 40 of them for $65 Shipped. That should last you over 3 years. At walmart that would cost you like $180+ bucks!

Yep blades are far too expensive at the retail stores.

holy crap... But better than spending the equivalent on cartridges.
Isn't the shave nicer to with a straight edge?

What you're proposing is turning shaving into an event rather than a chore. It definitely takes longer, with more preparation. It also takes quite a bit of practice to do it right.

I believe the blades you see on ebay are likely stolen.

Yeah if you like cutting a artery or 2; but hey, you're face will be as smooth as a babys butt, so what does it matter if you lose a few pints of blood. You'll make more blood. Just have some orange juice for breakfast 😛

I think you hit the nail on the head

I highly doubt all the sellers on ebay are selling stolen razors. The seller I have in mind buys in bulk and sells them by the thousands monthly.

Be careful, though... Some of them sell cheap knockoff blades that aren't made by Gillette or Schick LIKE IT SAYS ON THE PACKAGE.

(Edited for Compuwiz... he's a bit slow on the uptake today 🙂 )

 So Gillette and Schick make every quality blade, and the rest are knock offs?

Yeah, I've tested a few of them that are sold in the Middle east and India, and boy do they look really bad under the optical microscope 🙁 Nobody in my group wanted to even try shaving with it for fear of their face being ripped off.

Compuwiz, im sure he was just talking about the knockoffs on ebay. Other than Gillette and Schick, I dont know any other brand that would be "worth it" to knock off as the other companies sell their products for a very low price already...

You still have to keep it sharp. If you don't know how to sharpen it (and don't have the proper stones), it'll cost ya. But maybe some of them come with lifetime free sharpening.

doubtful the blades on ebay are stolen. many shops use ebay. i got a nice DE razor with 20 persona blades for a good deal.

But yes getting the DE setup was the best thing i did.

oh go to www.shavemyface.com they have a FS/FT section.
