Where can I buy hardware in Houston?

Fed up with shipping. Does anyone in Houston know a good place to buy hardware? I've been to Frys for some things (the good old Pioneer slotload DVD!) and have just found some place called AxionTech not far from my house. Am checking them out today. Used to be a place called ChipSmart. Did they bite the dust?

My apologies if this is in the wrong forum. It seems like a general hardware question to me.

Update for Houston peops. Directron is also here with a walk-in showroom. Only open M-F though. AxionTech open Sat also. Both places in west Houston just off the Beltway. Frys on West off I-45. I'm nearly finished with my system and am thinking of the next one. Is this contagious? Am I gonna need another job to afford all the hardware?

Frys, Axiontech, and Directron are the only places you need to shop at, heh. Best Buy is for wimps....
