Where can I buy guranteed o'clocked PIII's, 550E and up?

I'm looking too.I would like a p3-700 thats been pre tested to o/c.So email me if you see any,Ill do the same.I've used sunshinestar.com the last 2 years, they have the 550's I think, but no 700's.

The last couple of overclocked CPU I've bought weren't pretested. I just go by luck of the draw. I've bought two 500E aC2s. One was able to hit 700 @ 1.7V, the other 750 @ 1.8V. I just recently bought two 650 cB0s. One goes to 911MHz @ 1.8V, and the one I'm using now is running at 1021MHz @ 1.8V.

It's more fun and costs less to overclock without a guranteed speed. But thats just my opinion. 😉

Adam, Where did you buy your cpu's such that you knew the stepping before you bought the chip. Most places don't have such info, do they? Can you suggest some places to buy?

I buy my CPUs from local shops. You can tell what the steppings are from the processor code on the box for the retail CPUs, or you can read it straight from the CPU on OEM chips. I just match up the codes on the CPUs with the ones that overclockers.com have posted:

Sometime's I by things from www.overclockers.co.uk, they do sell proc's with guranteed o'clocking.
It's in the UK, but they do deliver all over the world ( I live in the Netherlands, most exciting overclocking stuff has to be bought in other coutry's .... 🙁 )
