Where can I buy cheap/decent work socks?

I want to clear out my drawer of socks and buy about 20 matching pairs. I am sick of trying to find matching pairs at 7am in the dark in my current mishmash drawer.

Anyone know of a cheap place that sells decent socks (online?) that are ALL the same?

(FYI, to me cheap is $5 or less for a pair)

If only there were thousands of clothing stores in a state.

Also stop jerking in just one of the pair and use the other the next time to keep the pair together.

I find kohls and their frequent 20% off coupons along with kohls cash is nice.

Otherwise, costco or whatever shows up on slickdeals so I can buy enough to completely replace all my socks at once. I always try to avoid the situation you describe.

Just look on Amazon. Try to get a feel for what's available to narrow down your search, and then look at reviews for stuff that catches your eye.

Socks in bulk quantity, alternator size. ^_^

You know, most folks match their socks when they do the laundry.
:whiste:What's the matter with kids today? Why can't they be like we were, perfect in every way? What's the matter with kids today?:whiste:

You get what you pay for. I wear wool socks exclusively. They aren't cheap, but they're comfortable, and last forever. When they do get holes, they're easy to repair. Buy 7 pair of the same kind, and you'll be good to go.

Somewhat counterintuitively, they're good for the summer too. They give good cushion, and absorption for sweat. Your feet will be about 100F regardless of socks, so there's no good reason not to use wool.

1. Match socks when they come out of the dryer, so you're not fumbling through blah, blah, blah.

2. Define "work". Work = sitting at a desk? Work = carrying lumber? Work = shooting criminals? Work = running on a field with a whistle around neck?

I wear kahki and black Gold Toe brand either casual (thicker) or dress (thinner) socks to work depending on the shoes. They sell them everywhere: Macy's, Costco, Marshall's. The Amazon price is high, so look locally.

I've switched to Under Armour Heatgear boot socks or crew socks when I'm wearing boots (depending on height of boot), and I like them. They cost either $10 per pair (boot) or $10 per two pairs (crew) from Under Armour on ebay. Shipping is free.
