They're about $7 for a thousand at Costco. Or were, when I bought them. It's been ten years and I'm still working on my first thousand. :p

Radio Shack be one good place. You can get a 300 pack of multiple sizes for about $8.

Most of the b&m stores should have em in stock too.

Radio Shack or any electronics parts store, i.e., SWS. You can get them on line from Cyberguys. And if you Google for cable ties, you will acess many vendors such as:

Are you talking about the zip ties? I buy mine at the $1 store. They are the same quality as the more expensive ones.

Price typically depends on tensile strength, length and quantity. To get small 4 inch ones that can hold 18 pounds, you can pay $1.25 for 100 pieces. That's a little more than 1 penny a piece. (Any color, doesn't really matter). Perfect for managing wires inside the desktop case.

If you want the bad boys that can hold 250 pounds than expect to pay more. To buy 25 of these 22 inch plastic ties will cost you about $9 over here. Of course, these are good if you want you computer to be suspended from a cable OR for the chair you sit on.... etc... Actually can't think of anything I would do that would need a zip tie that big.

I am pretty sure by "interesting" he meant that you used your first post to necro (bring back from the dead) a thread that was almost 6 years old...

@Matt1970 - It's a liitle bit of an older computer, BUT I wish I had used alunimum sheets with metal rods instead of wood.... the stupid wood is warping faster than I thought....... BUT it looks better than one I saw today :)
